The
Annex Young Players Ages 9-11
This yearlong
class is for the student who is committed to becoming a part of
a new theatre company for young performers. The students will
be involved in the entire process of putting on a play. Script
work, character development, dancing, singing, publicity, and
of course a great deal of team-work will be a part of this program.
This class requires a full-year commitment. Students will perform
one musical in the winter and another in the spring. Limited enrollment.

The
Glee Crew Ages 8-13
This full-year
class is based on the popular TV show Glee. The students will
learn skills in harmony, pitch, and tempo, dance styles such as
Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Jazz as they prepare several of their
favorite musical pieces from pop to R&B. A final presentation
will be showcased at the end of each term.

Dance
HIP HOP Ages 6- 8, 9-13
Come and learn the most current and fun dance moves! This high
energy class combines a mix of jazz techniques with cool street
moves. Students will learn choreography to the popular music of
today. This class requires a full year commitment.

Movie
Making Ages 9-13
Lights, Camera,
Action! Let your imagination take your movie where you want it
to go! You are in control; writing the script, directing the camera
shots and editing the final project. Your movie could end up in
Toronto’s Sprockets Film Festival!!!

Theatre
Sports Ages 9-13
Do you love
making people laugh? This class introduces the basic rules that
improvisers follow when performing without a script. Through fun
and challenging theatre exercises, students will learn to come
up with comedic characters and imaginative scenes on the spot.
This class emphasizes communication skills and teamwork, and provides
a great opportunity for young people to build self-confidence
and broaden their self-expression. There will be a presentation
on the last day of class.
